About Desiree
Desiree Vargas Wrigley is a Latinx serial entrepreneur. Her companies include Pearachute, a company that helps parents and children drop into the best family activities in town. Prior to that Desiree co-founded GiveForward, the world’s leading crowd-giving platform for people facing a major life event. Under her leadership, the company helped friends and family contribute nearly $160M to loved ones in need.
After graduating from Yale, she taught New Venture Discovery at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. About Evan
Multi-time founder and CEO with a decade of experience starting, managing, and growing “0 to 1” companies. That experience has required Evan to develop skills up and down the organizational stack from Product to Sales Leadership to Fundraising.
As Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Penny Pritzker’s P33, Evan is focused specifically on supporting promising Chicago-Based Startups close Seed to Series B rounds of capital. Evan also brings his experience as an Operating Partner at Vitamin Capital where he evaluates new investments and helps portfolio companies to provide an investors perspective on how Speed Round participants can be more successful fundraising.
